Symptoms of a sexual transmission

There are times when the person gets an infection and never realizes it. These are some signs that the person may come to expect depending on the type of sexually transmitted disease that has contracted:

  • Blisters, warts, sores, or a rash in the mouth or genital area that can be painful
  • Secretion from the penis, vagina, or anus that could smell bad
  • Fever, muscle pain, or swollen lymph nodes in the groin
  • Inflammation and itching of the skin in the genital area
  • Pelvic or abdominal pain, pain during sex or when urinating
  • Sore throat, ulcers in the mouth or problems swallowing
  • Vaginal bleeding or spotting after a sexual relationship in women
